DEVIN TOWNSEND
Devin Townsend (before in "Strapping Young Lad", "Devin Townsend Band", "Ocean Machine" and "Punky Bruster") has launch the "Empath" album last March 29th. Devin worked for a year in this material, we can listen a mature sound with a better version of himself, a masterpiece of this experimented artist. The cover art is amazing and the arrenges in this song was perfect. everyone is talking about this new album.
For this video Devin commented that the main idea was to capture an imaginary world full of meaningless things, an escape to the imagination, a more positive outlet for all those who have suicidal thoughts, a message of hope through wonderful images and a bombing of visuals not only in "Spirits Will Collide" but also in "Genesis" and "Evermore"; Townsend has created an imaginary collective of which all his followers are a part without which we can not understand his universe either.
The album has been well accepted in Canada and the rest of the world, one of the great releases of this year. Devin Townsend spent an approximate of 170,000 US dollars for the creation, advertising and distribution of this material. (by AKREMORFIN) There is not doubt about this awesome album. This work is probably one of the best material of the all Jonathan Davis career. This album is the clear example beetwen a great music production, a majestuosy voice full of feeling with the capacity to transmit strong emotions and a perfectly arrenged of the all tracks. Jonathan Davis does it again, this time with smartest lyrics revealing of carefully way secrets and truths.
"Black Labyrinth" was launched by Sumerian Records on May 25th, 2018. This is the first full Jonathan Davis's solo album, altough he made a lot of hits, collaborations and of course to be the leader of one of the biggest metal band in the history, Korn. JD was made in the past great works as the "Queen Of The Damned" Soundtrack, different featurings under the project "Jonathan Davis & The SFA", launching two live albums, "Alone I Play" (2007) and "Live at the Union Capilla" (2011). The SFA dissapeared after the Shane Gibson' dead. This is the most emotive piece of Mr. Davis.
"Black Labyrinth" is more than a good musical album, is a call for to open the eyes of the mind and heart to new kind of thoughts and feelings. For the fans, they can listen similar sounds that remind "Untouchables" of Korn but a mature voice and vision from this author. JD let us his majestic masterpiece. one more gift for his legacy.

If you're looking for a heavy rock band definitly you must to listen to "Cavem3n", a quartet of musicians from the coast of Lysekil, Sweden. The band Cavem3n is presenting "The Stalefield Incident", a 7 track album with a peculiar sound, you can find jazz, blues, funk, groove, classic and hardrock influences there making it unique and exceptional. The group is conformed by: Bonny Koskela Andersson (from "CosmBrothers"), Rickard Maisa (from "Scensur") in the guitar, Nicklas Andersson (from "Mammoth Volume") in the bass, and Anders "Pompe" Jacobsson (from "El Pompero" / "Woe") in the drum. MARK MORTON
The North American guitarist Mark Morton from Richmont, Virginia released his album "Anesthetic" on March 1st, a material expected by all metalheads because it is well known the trajectory, talent and originality of who is undoubtedly one of the best guitarists of the genre. Morton is best known for being a member of the metalcore band Lamb Of God; nevertheless this material caused a lot of expectation for his vituorosity as a musician.
"Anesthetic" has collaborations with other artists of international stature, true musicians, some of them very technical and others who simply do not need to be introduced as the leader of the NuMetal Linkin Park band: the vocalist Chester Benington, in an excellent and very significant collaboration in the song of "Cross Off" who gave himself luxury with his voice in perfect balance with the ease and rhythm in the guitar of Mark, who gives us dynamic riffs in the purest style of what was the 'new wave' American metal', an unmistakable sound that make this album an excellent sound work waiting for everyone. Randy Blaythe (LOG), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Myles Kennedy contribute with their voice in this material closing this great material with a flourish.

One of the best collaborations with Mark Morton was undoubtedly the appearance of Chester Benington, not only for his sensational voice, but for the emotion he caused to his fans after his death. A very original song that will undoubtedly remain for the history of metal.

From the heartland of the USA this band called Woolftooth is doing a good job! The group was found last year in 2018 but they are working hardest on their music!
